Cookies and browser storage
The browser-storage and consent categories used by Live TV Streaming Service, including necessary, analytics, replay, advertising, and marketing.
Operational inventory - legal review pending. This page documents the site's current storage controls. It remains noindex until vendor settings, retention periods, legal bases, and service-provider terms receive final approval. It is an operational inventory, not legal advice or a finalized cookie notice.
Necessary
A local-storage record named ltvs.privacy-consent.v1 preserves the current policy version and category choices. Necessary storage does not enable analytics, replay, advertising, or email marketing.
The guide also uses livetv:guide:favorites:v1 for TVMaze program identifiers you explicitly save andlivetv:guide:tvmaze:v1:<date> for hourly schedule snapshots. Favorites remain until you remove them or clear site storage. Schedule snapshots expire after one hour, and expired entries are removed the next time the guide runs. Both are first-party functional storage and contain no raw ZIP, account ID, email address, or cross-site identifier.
livetv:matcher:handoff:v1 temporarily carries only selected, stable channel identifiers from the channel directory to the matcher in the same browser tab. The matcher removes it as soon as it reads it.
livetv:matcher:share:v1 temporarily carries a shared match setup from the private link bridge to the matcher in the same browser tab. It may contain selected interests, stable channel identifiers, a budget bracket, and feature toggles. It never contains a ZIP, free-form search, recommended provider, or tracking parameter, and the matcher removes it as soon as it reads it.
Analytics
Optional and denied by default. After analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 may create first-party cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie. PostHog uses a project-scoped first-party local-storage record for anonymous device and session state. Only a bounded event allowlist is sent; raw ZIPs, free-form searches, email addresses, names, and account profiles are prohibited.
Google advertising storage and personalization remain denied. PostHog autocapture, profiles, heatmaps, exception and performance capture, feature flags, and PostHog session replay remain disabled.
Session replay
Optional and separately controlled. After replay consent, Microsoft Clarity may use first-party cookies or browser storage for a diagnostic session. Strict masking applies, with explicit masking around search, ZIP, comparison, and email-input regions. Analytics consent alone never loads Clarity.
Advertising
No advertising vendor is active. This reserved choice does not enable Google ad storage, ad personalization, or cross-site tracking. Affiliate outbound links and commissions do not by themselves authorize those technologies.
Marketing
No marketing measurement vendor is active. Change alerts require a separate affirmative checkbox and a configured first-party signup endpoint. Optional marketing measurement consent never subscribes someone to email.
Change or clear your choice
Withdrawing active analytics or replay consent first denies and resets the affected SDK, then reloads the page so its code is no longer active. You can also clear site data in your browser, which removes the necessary preference record and causes optional categories to start denied again.
