The Hulu live bundle with the reduced-ad library tier
Is Hulu Premium + Live TV the right fit?
Pay for this row only if the Hulu-library ad difference matters; it does not make live channels or Live-TV VOD ad-free.
Plan-level analysis
What separates this plan
The modeled core features match the ad-supported live bundle: unlimited DVR and two simultaneous streams.
The current Premium record does not inherit the other row's explicit trial claim, so trial availability must be verified separately.
Terms kept separate
Price is only one part of the decision
Unknown values stay unknown. A missing field below is an instruction to check the provider, not evidence that a fee, trial, or feature is absent.
Plan and lineup scope
The reduced-ad experience applies to the Hulu streaming library; live and VOD content delivered through Live TV still plays with ads. Locals and blackouts vary by ZIP.
Mandatory fees
No equipment rental or installation fee is advertised; taxes and checkout-specific charges were not normalized in this research pass.
Trial and renewal
The current Premium plan row did not carry the same explicit three-day trial promise as the ad-supported row; make no trial claim without checkout verification.
Before subscribing
Verify the decision in three steps
- Compare the Hulu-library ad experience, not just the plan names.
- Verify local stations and regional availability with the home ZIP.
- Do not assume a trial appears on the Premium checkout row.
