A ZIP-dependent Sling plan whose advertised amount is a lower bound
Is Sling Select the right fit?
Treat Sling Select as a location-specific option, not a national fixed-price plan, because eligible locals can change the monthly total.
Plan-level analysis
What separates this plan
The catalog preserves its from-price semantics and keeps the local-channel surcharge separate from the lower bound.
The final price and which local channels are eligible cannot be established without the provider's ZIP result.
Terms kept separate
Price is only one part of the decision
Unknown values stay unknown. A missing field below is an instruction to check the provider, not evidence that a fee, trial, or feature is absent.
Plan and lineup scope
Publish only as a from price and require ZIP before showing a final total or local-channel claim.
Mandatory fees
Documented local-channel surcharge is $5 monthly for one or two eligible locals and $10 for all three.
Trial and renewal
Sling currently advertises no free trial.
- price is lower bound
- zip required
Before subscribing
Verify the decision in three steps
- Enter the service ZIP before comparing totals.
- List each eligible local channel and its surcharge.
- Compare the final recurring total, not the starting amount.
