Plan decoder
Sling Orange or Blue? Start with the channels only one has.
There is no universal winner. Orange is the one-stream sports-and-family lane. Blue is the multi-stream news-and-entertainment lane. Buy both only when real must-haves cross the line.
Sling Orange
Choose Orange when its defining sports and family channels matter and one stream at a time works.
Sling Blue
Choose Blue when its defining news, entertainment, or sports channels matter, or the household needs up to three streams.
Sling Orange & Blue
Choose the bundle only when must-haves cross both lineups. Orange-restricted channels still share a one-stream lane.

Recurring price first
The monthly row—not the teaser.
“From” is a lower bound, not a final bill. Blue and the bundle can vary by ZIP. Taxes, add-ons, and later provider changes are outside these base prices.

Defining channels
A small matrix that can actually decide something.
These are positive inclusions from current first-party evidence, not inferred full lineups. Shared does not mean every shared network is shown.

The bundle footnote
Four streams is really 3 Blue + 1 Orange.
The combined plan does not turn Orange programming into a multi-stream lineup. One Orange-restricted channel can play while up to three other channels play.

Local channels
Orange: no. Blue: maybe. Your ZIP decides.
Sling says Blue and Orange & Blue may include ABC, FOX, and NBC in select markets. Orange does not include Sling-delivered live locals. An antenna path is separate from provider carriage.
- Run Sling's official ZIP lookup.
- Confirm the station call signs by name.
- Use the returned final recurring price.
Stop conditions
When not to buy the bundle—or Sling.
The right comparison includes the moment one of these plans stops making sense.
Your must-haves all sit on one side.
Orange & Blue starts $15 per month above the displayed Orange base price and Blue lower bound. Shared channels alone do not justify it.
Two Orange-restricted channels must play together.
The bundle preserves a one-stream Orange lane. A second Orange-restricted live channel needs a different provider or viewing plan.
A conflicted or ZIP-dependent channel is essential.
Do not subscribe from an advertised total. Verify the exact channel and final price on Sling's current location-specific result.
