New plan decoder
YouTube TV Sports Plan: save $18, but know what leaves.
It keeps the sports side of the main plan, local broadcast channels subject to availability, and the same core viewing features. It does not keep the full news and entertainment lineup.

Sports alone—or one of YouTube TV’s combo lanes?
YouTube TV now lists genre combinations alongside its 100+ channel plan. Choose what must survive the switch. This page withholds combo prices unless the provider publishes them.
Provider-named examples
The eight channels YouTube TV calls out.
YouTube TV's own page says 30+ in its plan card and 34 in its FAQ. We publish both instead of treating either count as settled. These are named examples—not a reconstructed full lineup. Local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC availability still varies.

What stays
The lower price does not strip the core product.
These features are stated by YouTube TV for the Sports Plan. Device and regional restrictions can still apply.
Cloud recording without a stated storage cap.
Three simultaneous streams; unlimited streams is a separate upgrade.
Up to six household accounts with personal libraries.
Watch up to four games together on supported devices.
Limited offer, kept separate
$54.99 is not the ongoing price.
New YouTube TV users; eligibility criteria apply may qualify for $54.99 per month for 12 months, then $64.99 per month. YouTube TV says the offer ends Aug 26, 2026. Its page also advertises a 21 days for $0 trial. Eligibility and offer terms apply to both.

Before switching
Four reasons to pause at checkout.
A lower recurring price is useful only when it survives the actual household and location.
Locals still depend on home location
YouTube TV names ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, but says additional local channels are subject to availability. Confirm the returned stations for the home ZIP.
NFL Sunday Ticket costs extra
It is not included in the Sports Plan. It can be paired with the plan as a separate add-on for out-of-market Sunday afternoon games.
ESPN Unlimited is not current access yet
YouTube TV says Sports Plan subscribers will receive it later this fall. This page does not count it as available today.
Switching can change saved recordings
YouTube TV says recordings from channels removed by a plan switch leave the DVR library; re-upgrading within 21 days can restore access. Switching also ends a promotional price.
